Thoughts on the Journey

I took the GRE and I think I did alright, I got a 600 on the verbal and 410 on the math and I'm feeling good about it. Most of my day has been spent with getting to the test and taking it but I feel accomplished and good.

I'm going to do some celebrating tonight and then move on to working on the essays for my application. Also I tag dynastessa for the next round of this meme, we need to thread.

Tomorrow I take the GRE and I feel like at the moment I've gone into some odd state before, not fully relaxed but not totally wired. I just went out to the outlets and bought a beach towel for my niece's birthday present along with a really cute Stitch Gemini mug for myself and dynastessa, I wasn't able to find the dvds you wanted cheap but I did find an awesome Nightmare Before Christmas mug for you.

Also I've been thinking about the fact that in the start of May, my parents are going off to my Mom's college reunion and by May 1st, my application to Michigan should all be in and I'm considering doing a trip of some sort.

I'm really thinking about doing perhaps a long weekend in NYC with maybe a stop in Philly on the way up. I'd love to see people so this is just a head's up. I'll probably not be online until tomorrow evening since I'm taking the GRE at 1 pm in a city about an hour south of here.

The power outage was a planned utility thing that when I talked to my dad he went oh I read something in the paper about that ages ago. So presumably somewhere there is a clipping saying this would happen which I missed.

I'm still grumbly because having the power suddenly cut out like that on your own is freaky. Now I think I'm going to go to the library and I don't think I'm awake enough for Starbucks and highway driving so I will take my studying to the library.

That way I can ask my friend the librarian for a reference, get some work done and then do some RPing before I fall over due to lack of sleep.

I'm reposting the drabbles that were requested for this meme since I enjoyed writing them. My mom was just asking me about the GRE study which got rid of my good feeling for finishing something. I will do my studying but for now, this is what I wrote.
