ceitfiannaI'm reposting the drabbles that were requested for this meme since I enjoyed writing them. My mom was just asking me about the GRE study which got rid of my good feeling for finishing something. I will do my studying but for now, this is what I wrote.
6) I will not fail death-Supernatural-Tessa involved somehow
Some nights when he woke from the nightmares, Dean would think about Tessa. Perhaps that would have been simpler, he could have been a Reaper and helped those who passed. The thought never got too far before the flask came out along with a bitter laugh, he had a destiny now like Sammy.
Destinies were some messed up shit, the days when they just hunted monsters were so much simpler and yet Tessa seemed at peace with herself. Though that wasn’t the life for him, not really, so simple and he’d never known simple, wasn’t meant for him at least not this time around.
5) Trying to build a tower out of custard-Ned/Chuck
It kept wobbling which was worrisome as they danced around trying to not touch each other and kept it up. Chuck kept laughing and giggling which just made Ned want to kiss her but he couldn’t because the tower was in the way. Finally they just let it fall in a mess as Ned grabbed some saran wrap and gave Chuck her well earned kiss.
19) In desperation, anything becomes possible.- Tom & Jane, Becoming Jane.
She had hidden herself in her writing after that cold morning for anything more felt like too much. Everyone seemed to be waiting and watching for her to do something more but only Cassandra saw her tears as the women in her story found a way to a happy ending. Whenever a door to the Bar appeared, she turned away for fear of seeing him and feeling the pull of his eyes once more. In the end it surprised her as it had him.
His Barrister’s wig didn’t look right and so Jane didn’t know him truly at first as she stained her fingers once more with a world she could control. After many long moments of just watching her write and burning for what might have been, Tom walked over and kissed her. Ink splattered them both but this time they would not let go.
26) The structure of her nose alone-Ned/Chuck
Her nose was just distinctive, every time he kissed her, Ned wished that he could reach out and play with it. He liked how it arched and made her more herself, he knew she’d laugh and like it if he talked about her nose but he didn’t want to. It was his nose too and so he would watch it and whenever they kissed, turn his head just so that he could feel nose to nose. Sometimes it was almost as wonderful as lip to lip because noses were just noses and so powerful. Especially because her s knew so much about cheese and how to make strange combinations that he would never have dared to try but she not lonely dared, oh she danced.
25) Matter remembered itself so very clearly-Greek Mythology
She was not the land, that was her mother but Demeter could feel the pain and dry as she walked across the dusty fields. Her hair felt brittle as she held back tears for a land that land and growth had forgotten. Somewhere in these fields was life, pushing and trying to find its way upwards, it knew her and was her but wasn’t it and everything hurt. In the end she simply sat and dug deep and deep to find the green and pull it up with one small shoot that was a beginning.
13) The confusion of mind you dub honor-Supernatural
Dean’s always found the idea of honor a load of shit, what counts is loyalty not honor. Honor is a fancy name for men who don’t know how they’re supposed to be loyal to and need to be told and led along. Though he’s been getting worried by how Sammy seems to care about honor though he calls it different things, respecting Dad’s death and Jessica and trying to honor them. You do right and you keep safe family blood or not, don’t need fancy names and bullshit about knights to make it true, just is.
6) I will not fail death-Robin Hood
The rope scratched at his neck as Will waited for the end, he had done all that he could as Robin’s man and if his death would keep him safe than so be it. His world had shrunk to the black of the hood and rope as he just waited, he didn’t wish to think, he had done all he could and never broken. Better to die now and be done. When the pressure suddenly wasn’t there and John’s voice was behind him as his hands were free saying,
“Fight now, Will!”
He was able to live again and fear he had failed Robin.
15) How long have I been walking down this road?-Tiwa
The Dreaming can trick you in terms of distances and place and Tiwa has no idea how long she’s been walking down this green road. She’s considering going bird but if she does that then can’t ask for directions and she knows that there must be a way through to Hogwarts around here somewhere.
The magic is so strong there that it shifts the world but it also hides itself deep in its own world. One of James’ scarves is wrapped around her neck for a direction and anchor also because it still kind of smells like him. Hopefully he’ll be surprised to see her but its hard, she never quite knows how he’s going to feel so she just keeps on walking.
3) A place beyond fear-Alex and Tiwa
Tiwa doesn’t like Alex’s world, its just dark and its hard to have him walking beside her with his broken wing but she promised to help him since she could go bird and get into that small little nook. He hadn’t stopped talking throughout their walk, telling her about Orion and their latest conquests which was comforting and hard since so much of it wasn’t nice.
When they finally reached the tower, she went bird and then had to wriggle to get into the space, the world was too small and the key was in deep. At least if she was a bird no one could see how scared she was or puffed out as she just kept pulling and pulling. Finally it came out and she wriggled out, her feathers still slightly on end as she flies back down. He doesn’t understand her fear because he doesn’t fear as much but he rubs her feathers as the memory of the cage dims.
