Man on Wire

I just saw an amazing beautiful film about Philippe Petit, a high wire walker who walked between the Twin Towers in 1974, it was utterly magical.

And I think found a clip of him actually doing the walking so I'm going to embed because we all need to believe in magic and hope and this is just uplifting. Men like this are why I find the idea of pooka not quite that startling.

Interview Thoughts

I think I might have a good plan since I've been thinking about going up and spending the night at someone's house in Pennsylvania before the interviewed. I've decided instead that I'd rather wake up really insanely early and drive up on Tuesday morning. Its just because I trust and want the support of my family here and to sleep in my own bed beforehand.

Tomorrow I'm going to find a cheap place to get my bangs cut so that I look really nice and neat and I really need to figure out something for my mom's birthday.

Currently I have too many ideas and not enough money. *crosses fingers* I will do my best and so fair warning that I'll be going to sleep very early on Monday night.

Also I got absolutely no writing done with NaNo yesterday since we were all just having far too much fun talking and hanging out. I know I'm terribly behind but I'm making the choice to keep writing since I'm so far behind in word count and just write for myself.
