Last night was the first real snow of the season and its just wonderful. The trees look beautiful and I'm busy but happy. I've got a lot of things to check off my list before I can get to New Zealand, but I think I'll be able to do them all. Sad news is that I leanrned that I won't be tutoring during the first semester at Vic, for Americans that means being a student teacher. So now I'm on the lookout for a job in Wellington. I know there's stuff out there and student job search is supposed to be pretty good. Still anyone in Wellington who knows someplace looking for a part time worker, please let me know.
Also another piece of big news is that my parents have decided to retire at the end of this June, when my mom finishes teaching her last class. They're really happy about it and have already started moving more things into Lewes, so its becoming more and more of a home. My brother Aaron and his girlfriend Hillary are going to be visiting from France at the start of February and I'm working on narrowing and focusing my ideas for masters thesis. And it snowed, so life is pretty good.
