Oh My Poor Eagles
Jan. 13th, 2007 11:28 pmI just listened to the Eagles lost to the Saints 27 to 24 and didn't breathe a lot and drank a good bit of wine. One of those games that was just too bloody close. At least we lost to a team with an even worse record than ours and who will really enjoy the chance at the playoffs. daniidebrabant ended up not visiting since she felt too sick. I'm sure I'll see her before I leave and now I will go down and watch Talespin and then read some Terry Pratchett before I sleep. Then tomorrow I'll have a good long walk somewhere. My parents will go to their book club in Lewes and I'll see them on Monday, but oh what a game. If you're a fan, you'll know this feeling, your nerves get tense and then it takes ages for them to unwind. Oh well, to unwinding and good season, Eagles, you did Philly proud and I hope the Saints march over whoever they need to and lift Louisiana high.
