ceitfianna: (long road)
[personal profile] ceitfianna
I've been kind of putting off doing this one since like a lot of people this past year seemed to have more downs than ups for me, but I'm really hoping the new one is better. Tonight my plans are simple, make myself French Toast and do some lovely threading.

1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
I got my driver's license.

2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't think I did since I didn't finish my thesis, don't think I lost any weight and don't have a job.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

4. Did anyone close to you die?

5. What countries did you visit?
New Zealand though started out living there last year so don't know if that counts.

A job and my own place.

April 2008 when I decided and finally acknowledged that yes, I really wasn't going to finish my thesis.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting my driver's license.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Not finishing my thesis and I'd say not getting a job, but I can't control that one and I know I've done really well on all my interviews and cover letters.

Mainly just general allergies and all, nothing too horrible.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
The cost of getting my ears pierced since it opens up so much new stuff.

My amazing friends and family who reminded me that its alright to say now wasn't the time for my thesis and then helped me start the next step of finding a job.

The Bush Administration.
