Random Things
Mar. 18th, 2010 04:39 pmUgh, my body is not being helpful, this is one of the worst periods I've had in a while. So I haven't gone to sword stuff in the last two weeks and I'm feeling not a lot of regret.
Maybe I need to keep looking to find something that really makes me happy, but I will be playing D&D with one of my friends here which just makes me excited. I've missed doing tabletop roleplaying.
Now for distraction, my thoughts are scattered and I'm tired so here have a meme from
spiffynamehere.
- Leave me a comment saying "Resistance is Futile".
- I'll respond by asking you five questions to satisfy my curiosity.
- Update your journal with the answers to your questions.
- Include this explanation and offer to ask other people questions.
1. Can I put you in my pocket and take you places with me?
If you can manage it, of course you can.
2. I have epic brainfail. Are you a student of some sort at this point?
Doing what? (SORRY. I think I know the answer to this, vaguely, but it's slipped my brain.)
I'm currently working on a Masters of Information Science at the University of Michigan. I want to become a youth librarian in a public library and I discovered that having a masters will help get the kind of job I want. Currently its keeping me busy and stressed.
3. How old are you now, how old are you now, don't lie cause I'll spot it, how old are you now~?
I'm 28.
4. SPEAKING OF, HEY CAN YOU SING?
Yes, but not very well. I did some musical theater when I was younger but I did better with the dancing and the acting. Since I am musical, I can play the flute and piano, but I never really found the courage to trust my own singing even though I do like doing it.
5. What book(s) are you currently reading, and why?
Let's see, I'm currently reading Daemons are Forever by Simon R. Green, which is the newest in a fun paranormal series that's just action and makes me smile. I'm rereading a Ngaio Marsh mystery as the book by my bed since I love her cozy mysteries.
