Lots to cstch up on

Let's see, things have been good though not perfect. I didn't work last weekend because I was on call and didn't get called in. This process is one of the worst things about Victoria's Secret and why I quit today. This coming week will be my last, just my luck its their big sail, but it means I leave with a good chunk of cash. I'm recovering from an awful cold with antibiotics and rest. Also I read lots of wonderful books given to me by my family and I'm starting to see myself as becoming a maritime historian. Also I read a book that reminded me why I love the classics called Sailing the Wine Dark Sea Why the Greeks Matter by Thomas Cahill, I really recommend it. Okay
Resolutions: To get my driver's license, to get involved in either a type of dance or a martail art which can just become part of what I do. Anyone who knows me and knows about them, any suggestions would be welcome, to reconnect with my good friends such as see Erin in Texas and friends from RMWC, lastly the big one, GET To NEW ZEALAND!!!! That's all I hope you've all had a Happy New Year and had good friends and family to help welcome it in.

*hugs* I'm sorry the job at VS isn't working out for you. I know you'll find something that suits you better. I hope the museum thing is still going well.

As far as martial arts goes, I have a few ideas, but I'd want to know more of what you want to get out of it. Relaxation? Fitness? Self-defense? An excuse to kick the occaisional butt in a legal and safe manner? Let me know, I'll offer suggestions.
