Thoughts on Prince Caspian
May. 28th, 2008 05:02 pmI just came back from seeing Prince Caspian and I really liked it.
I actually thought that the look of the Telmarines worked because I've always imagined them sort of like Moorish Spainards though the accents really weren't needed.
It made me vaguely homesick for New Zealand with the geography and everything but it captured the feel of the book to me, that transition from seeing Narnia as younger and how nothing ever really stays the same.
In other happy news, to get to the movie, I had to drive on Route 1, but now I can go to the movies on my own and drove there myself. I'm feeling independent and more adult today.
Very late edit because I can't spell sometimes.
