A Break from Cleaning

ceitfiannaI am packed and the flat is slowly getting cleaner, my room is good and so is the bathroom but the lounge/kitchen area needs more. The weather outside is rainy and windy and apparently will be fine for taking off in. So it should be an interesting day for flying. I discovered the main reason, Phil was gone for the weekend was he hurt his foot and so much grumbling and such. I'm pretty sure that my email didn't have much of an effect on him. At least there's no awkwardness and lots of him grumbling about foot while I grumble about cleaning. A nice benefit of coming back next year and all the applications are filled out too is that Stafford is letting me keep the same room, so I can leave summer clothes, books and some other random stuff here and not have to worry about packing it, which is lovely.
Yesterday was a mix of far too much stress and being with good friends. I woke up and sent a package of books and dvds home and then quickly filled in my international application. Then hurried back since I thought my parents were calling, sadly we got our signals crossed but I talked to them today and weirdly I will see them tonight just my second tonight. I then met up with Rowan and just had a nice chat, we work well as friends though not as a couple. I've been lucky in finding friends out of failed relationships, Erin and Rowan are good friends. And Phil is just a friend, which sucks but oh well. And then I met up with Sunny and we paid 10 dollars and had all we could eat pizza at Hell Pizza, best pizza in New Zealand and just talked. I thought I was gaming, but that feel through so came back and just relaxed and talked to Sarah Kate. Oh and in odd news, for some reason, disney songs keep going through my head. I was humming A Part of Their World so downloaded the Little Mermaid soundtrack and now I've got A Girl Worth Fighting For from Mulan in my head though I've made it A Man Worth Fighting for. Life is good and I still have a good bit to do and lots of travelling, but only three flights, a hop to Auckland, long haul to San Francisco and then a smaller haul to Philly. Oh and the Eagles are back in the game and the All Blacks pummelled France. Okay, now I must go and clean more things in the kitchen. Soon I'll be in the States again and then back here in a little while. Oh and the wind is making the building shake, Wellington is a strange city but I like it.
