No More Finals

Finals are done and apparently things are okay with Phil. Not sure what that means but find out as we go along. The Aristophanes was not too hard but I spent most of it feeling worn out and just tired. I think I've been trying to do too much the past couple of days. So tommorow I have a busy day of getting more internet, talking to parents and maybe cooking dinner for flatmates then Friday I head out by train to play in a huge paua place and then hang out with Sunny. And before I leave, I have to decide about sending stuff home, have a last gaming session Monday night and not lose track of anything and turn my application in for next year, life is nuts. So tonight I bought fish fingers, beer and rented That Thing You Do, last night I watched Much Ado About Nothing when I was thinking I had someho ruined all possibility of friendship with Phil, which hasn't happened.

Oh and I had a fun moment when I thought I'd lost my passport but it was just in a different bag. I think I've been stressing about all that I have to do lately and the weather's been remarkably grey, so tommorow night I'm going to make my special lamb patties and if they're not eaten tommorow night, they will be leftovers for Phil and Anushka and I get to cook. Yay for that and on Saturday I have an expedition out to the Wairarapa valley to find paua shells. Thus the stress from yesterday goes away, oh and I have discovered Friendly Hostility, which is weird and fun. Oh and we won the House and the Senate so I feel proud to be an American again on the other side of the world.

Yay and I feel relaxed today instead of a state of constant worry. Still have lots to do but a lot of that involves throwing out pieces of paper I don't need, which should feel good.
