I really don’t want to get sick again, I finally got over all my congestion but now I’m feeling achey. My energy level is down and I hate that but I think finally the next Leverage AU chapter is going to go up. I’m going to try for tomorrow, it needs more dialogue tags and some more editing and the last chapter has been started.

There was a social thing that I thought about trying to get to today but I think going out yesterday sadly sapped me. Instead I walked my neighborhood and have some yummy food to try out. And I had a chance to finally try a diner near me which was good, classic diner food.

I’ve also fallen into watching competitions in the run-up to the Olympics as I love watching figure skating and the other sports can be fascinating. I have no idea if my ice dance/pairs AU will ever be at a spot to share but I like thinking about Jyn and Cassian in that world.

Also I meant to write up Arisia at some point. I had a great time and want to spend more time there next year.

I'd love to hear about your experiences at Arisia - I've always had a conflict that weekend so I've never been able to go, but I'm so curious.

Unrelated question - I have a friend who might be interested in doing some fact-checking work, and I was wondering if you'd be willing to talk to her about how you got into it and what the process is like. She's in the UK so I don't know that the exact details will apply, but any insight would be useful. Is that something you'd be up for? If so, I can put you in touch with each other.

I'll try and do a longer write up of it. I was only there for one day versus the entire weekend so didn't get the full experience.

I'd be glad to help as I found my way into fact-checking in an odd way but have been doing it a while.
