Cold Day

My mother and I were planning to go out to lunch today but the snow and ice defeated us and I have seen worse in Michigan but it still sucked. I hope all of you farther north as safe and warm because down in Southern Delaware, its cold and not a lot of snow but lots of ice.

To borrow a meme from Tumblr that I like and would love thoughts on as I'm trying to get back to my various RPs and Works in Progress now Yuletide is over;

How about Christopher Chant + ice skating?

Ice skating is something that Christopher feels like he should know how to do, but he never really learned. So when the first proper winter comes to Chrestomanci castle and the local pond is iced over, Millie tugs him to go ice skating. She knows about it, because its mentioned in all the books she's read and she needs to know how. Christopher does his best to look elegant while trying to figure out how to stay upright until he uses a charm to make the skates not wobble. Millie tells him he's cheating but he doesn't care as he doesn't fall over.
