?? Which Of The Greek Gods Are You ??
brought to you by Quizilla
First off, an interesting quiz that I think fits me then lots of stuff to tell. The past weekend was wonderful, Geoff and I went to see Chuck Berry in concert and the man is amazing, he's 76, but no one's told him that. He was full of life and energy and music and passion, simply wonderful. If you don't know his music, go listen and find some now. He's the reason we have good rock and roll music. Then just lots of being with Geoff, and it made me realize just how lucky I am to have him in my life since that kind of happiness is rare and wonderful. Go see Whale Rider, its a reminder of what's possible when you know who you are and are willing to just do what you have to do to truly be you. Also its beautiful and reinforces in me the fact that I will find a way to spend next year in New Zealand. Since this is the time to do it and there's a lot of world out there and I want to see a lot of it and hope it can help me figure out who I am. For me the best way to do that is to just keep trying and living and learning and at some point, I"ll find what I love and decide okay, I can spend my life doing this. Then just a matter of figuring out how to be as good as I can be at it and as happy as I can be. Oh and at work today, I"m reading a logbook from 1824, just holding it and reading the words of the lieuntenants recording the weather, the sails, and what's happening. Its like reading a crossword and trying to understand their lives from the basic information they've put down. Also had a wonderful dinner and night out with my sister, we saw Whale Rider and just had a great time. I love my sister, but we sometimes have a hard time just having time to be sisters, and tonight was a good night. That's all for now, I have to go to sleep so I'll be ready to keep reading the logbook.
