I'm currently collecting words for another round of the five words meme as I love it. Also I have many ideas for writing and posting but today when I have the time, don't have the ideas. Things will come together, I just need to give myself some time to put on music and just write. My Yuletide fic is started and I know what's going to happen but again, need to focus on it.

I spent most of today collecting present ideas for when I have the money and I'm looking forward to driving home.

My holiday card is designed and once I get the paper will be sent out so if you'd like a card and haven't left your address and prompt for gift fics, the entry is still open here.

So now to do another meme that's been going around and one I like as I find thinking about couples fascinating.

Urquhart/Moist, because Urq is just that much bigger and he's comfortable.

what is their favorite non-sexual activity
Running scams, because it's fun. *sighs at them*

who uses all the hot water in the morning
Moist as while he can get dressed in a hurry, he'd much rather take his time.

what they order from take out
Indian food for those times when Urquhart doesn't want to cook.

what is the most trivial thing they fight over
The scent for the bubble bath.

who does most of the cleaning
Urq keeps the kitchen clean and Moist keeps the rest of the things clean as he's used to most things being hidden away.

what has a season pass in their DVR
Game of Thrones and I'm not sure what else.

who controls the netflix queue
They're pretty good about sharing it.

who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working
Usually Moist does it because he has the landlord wrapped around his finger.

who steals the blankets
Moist, he likes being warm.

who leaves their stuff around
Urquhart but it's not a lot of stuff.

who remembers to buy the milk
Urquhart as he uses it the most in his cooking.

who remembers anniversaries
They both do but they don't celebrate them overtly as that's too much commitment.

Heee! I was going to ask that, but somebody already did.

Seconding this -- especially the 'Game of Thrones' thing. Urq probably like 'Criminal Minds' as well, to roll his eyes at those unprofessional serial killers.

Oh yes, I was thinking that they might like some of the procedural shows but wasn't sure.

Oh yes, they probably would -- at least Urquhart! He'll want to know how the police people from the future think and work and what they can do; and even if somebody told him that CSI isn't quite realistic as analyses like that take days, not minutes, he'd rather err on the side of caution.

Exactly, it's research. Moist would go along with that.

And amusement, because some criminals are so stupid they DESERVE to be caught. On the other hand, their mistakes are always educational as well.

I could also see them renting heist movies for the same reason. I think Moist would like those Guy Ritchie movies where everything seems to be falling apart and then somehow comes together though he wouldn't like all the violence.

Oh yes, from the classics to recent stuff like 'Layer Cake' and even comedies. And things like 'The Talented Mr. Ripley' -- for great meta.

Delicious meta, yes, and that's one of those movies I keep meaning to watch. I actually have the book to read before watching it.

That's one of the nice things about being from the Disc, meta wouldn't be that weird for Moist.

No. And Milliways, where people keep looking like each other. Urq would probably comment, 'The victim looks a bit like you, but you'd never fall for that!'

I think I'll take option 1 as I do love William and Thalia.

I can see them switching with this depending on the night. Sometimes Thalia wants to be held and sometimes they end up holding each other.

what is their favorite non-sexual activity
Horseback riding or spending time at the firing range.

who uses all the hot water in the morning
William because hot running water is amazing and then feels really bad that he used it all up.

what they order from take out
Greek or Chinese, Thalia's in control there.

what is the most trivial thing they fight over
Who can fight the best and then this leads into sparring and then making out.

who does most of the cleaning
I think they're pretty even on this.

what has a season pass in their DVR
The SyFy Saturday horrible action movies so they can point out what doesn't work.

who controls the netflix queue
Thalia as she's constantly telling William that he needs to watch something.

who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working
William tries to do it but it ends up about even and the landlord fixes it promptly.

who steals the blankets
I think Thalia does.

who leaves their stuff around
William leaves stacks of books everywhere and tries to be neat but he's kind of messy.

who remembers to buy the milk
I think Thalia does, I can see her doing the shopping.

who remembers anniversaries
William and he always surprises Thalia.

Very nice. And no it's not a bad thing. I can almost see some world where Thalia is a Hunter for 50 years or so but then retires and thanks to the Milliways time shuffle, she goes and lives in William's world.

I like that idea, because their adult lives might end up a little parallel with her as a Hunter and him as a lawman. Milliways is where they constantly intersect but with no expectation of anything more until suddenly things change and there is. Yet even so, it's of that comfortable level of oh, we can try this out now.

Since I could see them taking care of each other at various times when they run across each other since that's what you do and the respect and care doesn't go away.

It's just the something more part that gets put away in a box and they're both really good at compartmentalizing their feelings or at least tucking their feelings away if they don't want to think about them.

The tricky part would be that she wouldn't age so that's where the time shuffle comes in.

Working on something together, her giving advice on one of his projects, him listening to her research.

Kait, she likes being warm.

Barbeque.

what is the most trivial thing they fight over
Hee, this is tricky for them. I think one answer is who gets to be in charge in terms of sex but Kait always wins that one. The other is who's working too hard.

who does most of the cleaning
Sam as it's usually odd things from his projects that are cluttering things up.

what has a season pass in their DVR
Documentaries about history and engineering and mythbusters.

who controls the netflix queue
Kait

who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working
Kait because she's good at making the landlord listen though quite often Sam will go and fix it himself.

who steals the blankets
Kait, she doesn't like cold.

who leaves their stuff around
Sam again because he tends to work wherever he is.

who remembers to buy the milk
I think Kait but they both tend to forget it, other things are more important.

who remembers anniversaries
They both do as they can be incredibly sappy.
