Jun. 23rd, 2011 10:37 pmI love the five question meme, I'm not sure that surprises anyone so here are the next round of answers.
Comment with "Come at me, bro," (or something to that effect) and:
→ I'll respond by asking you five questions so I can get to know you better.
→ Update your journal with the answers to the questions.
→ Include this explanation in the post and offer to ask other people questions.

1. What are you currently reading? And how do you feel about it?
I'm about to be between books as I just finished reread Five Red Herrings by Dorothy Sayers and I'm close to the end of A Tale of Time City by Diana Wynne Jones. The DWJ is a really enjoyable read though I keep thinking, oh, this character is like that one and this plot is like that one, but it doesn't take away from anything. It just makes me want to read more of her books, she's written so many.
2. Congratulations. You've just won the lottery for 35 million dollars. What will you do with it?
First I would pay off all my student loans, travel around to see all of my friends and family all over the world and not worry. After that I'd build a library, give money to libraries and schools with no strings attached other than help people learn. Then I'd build my dream house but I have no idea where, I'd figure it out and work in a local library where I host storytimes and tea parties and help my community. The rest gets invested so I can keep traveling.
3. You find yourself at a garage sale where all sorts of old and wondrous things can be found. What little treasure do you manage to find and what does it mean to you?
An old book of Pindar that has the translations of the last owner inside it.
4. If you could have the autograph of any famous person ever - dead or alive - who would that person be and why?
I think Shakespeare because that would mean I got to see a performance at the Globe.
5. What is your favourite winter apparel - and why?
The cosy and rather square sweater that my mother knit for me, putting it on just makes me feel safe and warm.

1. You have your trusty, most favoritest camera, and all the film/memory you could ever need. Where in the world would you choose to be dropped for the sole purpose of taking pictures?
New Zealand, I'd hire a boat to go completely around both islands and take pictures.
2. It's the Rapture! But, awww, you didn't make the cut. What's your vice that kept you earthbound while the rest of the goody two-shoes went off to drink kool-aid in heaven?
I'm lustful and I'm pretty sure that would keep me down on Earth.
3. The Menagerie just opened up down the street and now you can have any pet you want, from pot-bellied elephants to lap giraffes. What's your fantasy pet?
A horse and a cat since I miss riding and a cat would be company.
4. The library is one fire! And that shit is burning to the ground. You get to save 3 books. Which ones? (And these are books for you, bub. No honorably saving famous works for the world.)
I hate this question, its so hard to choose. These are the first three off the top of my head; The Odyssey, The Once and Future King and Unexpected Magic by Diana Wynne Jones.
5. You just cashed in everything to buy front row, VIP, meet and greet
tickets for the concert of the century. Who ya seeing?
Jakob Dylan, his music just works for me lately and its not really sensible but there it is.
I'm pretty sure I'm still collecting questions and definitely giving them out. I've rather forgotten everyone who's entry I've tagged.

Yes! A Becoming Jane rewatch would be fantastic. I - have no idea when this would happen, though. Maybe next week at some point? Idk? But yes, I would love to get Tom Lefroy back into my head for OOMage!
