Today I didn't get on a computer until 6 pm due to a fantastic meeting about the AABF and sitting in cafes finishing Stacy Schiff's Cleopatra, which makes me so happy. Her style of writing is incredibly engaging, she knows her history and goes, this is propaganda, this we don't know and this we do. Also there are beautiful color plates that make me want to go back to Macedonia and Greece and visit Egypt and more of the Mediterranean coast and translate Greek and Latin and read more histories.

I finally turned in my degree audit so as long as I pass my class this summer semester, I will get a diploma in August. The weather is being fantastic, its sunny and not too hot due to beautiful breezes and my parents are arriving on Friday.

Adding a twist is that I seem to have ended up with AABF meetings every day this week but Wednesday, which means cleaning up my place and taking care of my car are going to be slightly shoehorned in. Though I adore all the meetings as there are so many ideas and things are coming into shape with character, story, illustrations and creation.

I'll make it work and last night I cooked up the chicken wings I bought at the farmer market's in one of my classic see what's in the pantry and put it in the pot dishes and it turned out delicious, a sort of chicken banana curry dish.

Sameth, a quirk of this canon seems to be that no one in the royal family actually has more than one name. I don't know why but he does use the last name Stone when pretending to be a soldier in canon.
