Taking Stock

Today wasn't the greatest day. My stomach's been hurting and I'm not sure why and I just feel worn out. I've managed a solid chunk of research for my internship and discovered that I really hate software systems sold with modules. I know that the idea is all about get just what you need, but it just seems scammy to me. Also LJ has been eating notifications like crazy so I've lost track of some amazing threads, which makes me grumpy.
I think I need to start exercising again and just find a schedule for it that actually works and makes me smile. There will also be far more cooking because there are farmer's markets and I'm not working this weekend. So Ann Arbor folks, what are your plans for the Fourth?
So to put all my scattered thoughts together, I'm snagging a lovely meme from
agonistes.
current book: Fly By Night by Frances Harding and I love it so much. Mosca Mye is one of my favorite heroines and I want there to be fic of her and Mitt Mittson hanging out. Also I'm rereading my Ngaio Marsh collection and just picked up one of the few I don't know own at Miss Agatha's, the mystery used bookstore. Then I found a book that was apparently written in the thirties by a group called the Detection club with Christie, Sayers and others, I couldn't resist.
current sounds: Not very much, my keyboard clicks, but that's all. Oh and a train in the distance.
current shame-inducing guilty pleasure: Watching Bravo's various reality shows though the artiest one keeps making me want to throw things at the TV.
current colors: Pure greens of all the trees and grass, blues and purples from blooming gardens and the deep oranges of tiger lilies.
current triumph: My research on automation/library catalog systems for my internship.
current annoyance: My body and how I'm feeling about it. I know I need to eat better and exercise more, but having my stomach hurt and feeling off doesn't help.
current playlist: I don't really have one at the moment.
current food(s):Homemade iced tea from my collection, I've been making wonderful green tea mixes. Also fresh cherries that I'm going to make something great with. Tomorrow I'm going to Whole Foods and buying wonderful produce so I can cook this weekend.
current suspicion: I'm not going to find enough product reviews of these catalog systems.
current drink: Homemade iced tea though I buy Thai Iced tea at any place that sells it in town.
current link: Unfunny Business and their link round up of all the horrible Avatar: The Last Airbender reviews, they've been making me grin.
current wish-list: A transporter so I could go hang out with lots of people. I'm not as sure what else.
current celebrity crush: Jude Law, the man makes the best faces.
current film: Seabiscuit a mixed muses' post has made me want to watch it again and it always makes me hopeful.
current anticipation: The end of the month when there will be many visits and the Punch Brothers.
current indulgence: Rereading my Ngaio Marsh collection and
moons_storm's homemade marshmallows.
current song I can’t get out of my head: Matter to Somebody by Gary Allan
