I'm having a not very good day and I'm not quite sure why. The end of my week was actually good but I woke up today and I've been sore and just generally grumpy. I currently have a headache and just plain ache. So since I don't really have the brain for too much writing, I'm going to post some playlists and a drabble that Ashie requested.

I apologize if the playlists aren't terribly long, but again, I'm low on brain. Also I'd love to hear what you think of these since I'm never sure if my playlists make sense outside of my own head.

You would think considering that they are both men who have been surely tested by life that Sameth and Nick would not be jostling with each other for a look at the blueprints. Yet they are and Kait is debating if she should laugh or not, they probably won't notice.

"I could make that, look at how it connects. That's a brilliant idea."

Sam is tracing part of an engine while Nick nudges him over, it doesn't take much to remember that they met when they were about twelve,

"And its science, my dear Sam, real, honest to goodness science."

"Just because it has plans?"

"No, because no spells or anything are involved just science."

"Maybe, it still has to fly."

"Science, Sam, science."

Now Kait laughs, its hard not to at how serious they look and Sam moves to get his arm around her waist and kiss her while Nick just sighs at them.

Ooh, quite nice. I know I said that in chat last night, but I thought I might offer something a little more complete this time around.

The first one, I don't honestly know if I'd have thought of Felix if it wasn't presented that way, but it fits quite nicely. The beginning part, of hidden things, evokes quite a lot about him - Vale, Prox, Psynergy, sealed-up Alchemy... Then the "everything contributes to keeping it going" theme - Felix's role in that feels more conscious than most, but it fits very well. The planting/growing imagery, in particular, speaks to him even though his powers don't usually deal with plants. Quite a good choice.

The second is quite interesting. The first part gives me a complicated combination of images - aloneness, but not precisely lonely; getting up early to see the dawn (itself an appropriate image, given the name of Felix's canon); preparation for Things-To-Come. Then the latter part transforms that into traveling and moving and Things-Happening.

Quite nice, overall. Thank you.

Finally got around to downloading these - thank you! I love that you associate the folk songs with Dalemark, it really does make sense considering how mythologically heavy the world is.
