Things Looking Up

ceitfiannaToday seems to be rather sucky for much of my flist which is never fun. I just figured out how to not be quite as crazy tonight. I traded my chat shift for a day shift tomorrow. So now I can take my time going home after the 501 meeting and relax. Also I think my body will be happier with me without lots of rushing around. I'm not sure what's up with my stomach but when I get home, I'm making some wonderful soothing tea to hopefully feel better. Since I have about an hour to kill before my meeting, I figured I would do another round of the icon meme and also spread some love around.
At one point, there was a thing floating around of requesting playlists for either yourself or a character. I'd like to start this up again, give me a person, an image, a couple and I'll give you a small group of songs, maybe five or more depending on how inspired I feel. All I ask is that you do the same and soon our flists will fill with wonderful, shared music.
Now for another round of the icon meme if I can just remember how to do the linking on a Mac.

I'm pretty sure that Star made this one and I snagged it from her. Its my the world is scary and I want to hide from it icon.
Becca made this one for me when I suddenly had a lot more icon space but not a lot of icons. I love it since it has the feel of age and history and in someways, I really am a historian at heart. Also I just love castles.
On the waterfront in Wellington, they have these quotes scattered about. Its called the Wellington Writer's Walk and this one says "I live at the end of the universe just like everyone else." I adore it so much since it captures a very New Zealand feeling but its also a rather Milliways' quote too.
One of my favorite icon makers made this onesunlitdays and its Wellington which is honestly my favorite city in the world. The icon captures all the things I love about it, the water, the hills, the sun and the warmth.
I don't remember who made this one, but I love foxes and they're so clearly being there for each other. This is my you're my friend, let me squish you and make it better icon.
I made this icon after seeing Up when I was in the midst of getting ready to move to Ann Arbor and start this crazy adventure of learning how to be a librarian. I find it hopeful and kind of daunting, there's a large distance to go, but its possible and the view is amazing.
