Almost Done
Dec. 16th, 2010 09:16 pmToday I've been checking things off my list, I still have a lot to do but I've made huge progress. My big paper is nearing the halfway point. Slogging through secondary sources is my least favorite part of academia but the material is interesting. The hope is that if I get far enough I won't have to worry that I don't have these books with me when I finish it off.
My final this morning went quite well, I finished early and was able to write slightly about fandom for it. Also I was finally able to get my bangs cut so I can see again and the lady at the salon didn't charge me which made me smile.
I have a ride arranged for tomorrow, laundry done, now I'm making dinner and preparing to hard boil my leftover eggs. At some point I'll take a break and do my packing before I sleep. I'm always a fast packer so I'm not worried about that.
Really I just need to get enough secondary material in this paper and hopefully get it to the four thousand word mark if not more. Then I can just go in and expand with my own thoughts. I will finish this by the 18th and my Yuletide is moving. I want to do more with it tonight, but I'm not sure if I'll have time. I'm so close to the semester being done.
