The Stories We Tell
Dec. 15th, 2010 10:23 pmToday has been nice. I met up with one of my good friends from SI and we had a lovely lunch at one of the pub's in town, walked back to my place, hung out a bit before heading out to see Tangled. My Homer paper is progressing nicely, the real thing I need to do is not look at the word count. There's so much I find fascinating about this topic that I'm still at the stage of get stuff on the page. Tomorrow after my final, I'm going to come home and add references to my own words then edit and do more editing when I get to the East Coast. Due to fun family traveling, I'll have two days without easy access on the 19th and 20th so things need to get done before then.
I'll turn it in on the 18th and celebrate by having an early holiday with my brothers' family. My Yuletide has slowed a bit, but paper comes first and I'm not too worried about my Yuletide.
Now I'm going to talk about Tangled since it left me feeling rather confused. To put it simply, it felt like Disney was trying to change up things but not everything really worked as well as it could have.
