Connections
Aug. 12th, 2009 11:13 pmI just talked to really my best friend, we've known each other since we were toddlers and she apparently moved at almost the same time as I did. This year has been crazy and so we had a harder time getting in touch with each other but we just talked for almost an hour and she's still my best friend.
With all the various drama going on in Milliways, this talk did me so much good and also has got me thinking. When we talk to each other on this crazy internet thing, we don't always get the wonderful tones of voice and such and I think its easy to forget, yes there's another person out there.
Yet, it also works out in wonderful ways since I firmly believe especially with any interaction that you get out what you put in and sometimes even more. So if you're willing to put in positive and creative energy, wonderful stuff will come back to you.
If you're on my flist, I'm glad to know you and if you've got a friend that you've fallen out of touch with, give them a call, have coffee, just connect.
