Friday Night Lights

I grew up just outside of Philadelphia in a crazy little suburb with a pretty good college in it but you see our football team went from horrible my freshman year to winning state the year after I graduated.

I played in the marching band for all four years and I love to watch sports and this show is just utterly awesome and beautifully done.

Thank you flist for convincing me to buy it and also I love the music, its so carefully chosen and good.

More Setting Up

Linking DBAD, send some positive out into the world since its amazing what a small thing like a smile can do.

Today I opened up a bank account in Ann Arbor and since I'm a student, I also got a fifty dollar credit, more money is always good.

I'm in the process of figuring out how to close down the bank account I have in Swarthmore so that I can add a little more money to my settling in stuff. I still haven't heard back from the job so I'm going to keep investigating things since I really want a part time job so that I'm earning money while I work on my masters.

Not too much else is going on, the weather's starting to be not as horribly humid and life is just feeling hopeful.
