Jun. 1st, 2009 07:59 pmI had an awesome time in NYC and have another new pair of earrings and a Bones' action figure that will live in my car and I'm feeling rather mixed abut the Chinatown buses. On the way up they worked great and I was able to just do two transitions, drive to Dover which is the longest I've driven on my own and then take a bus to Wilmington and there to NYC.
The only problem was on the way back, I couldn't find the bus stop and so I walked around and around Macy's getting more annoyed since I woke up early enough that I could actually catch an even earlier bus. Then I found out that they don't have a sign of any sort just a person that you have to know how to find. So after about an hour of this I went, hell with this, I'll take Jersey Transit back and so I caught an express train to Philly which went really quickly.
The Philly to Wilmington leg took a little longer but I finally got to my car at 6:30 and arrived home a bit ago after picking up dinner. My feet hurt and I acquired two blisters on the bottom of my feet but I had a really awesome time. I love New York City so much but I just wish that it wasn't so hard to get there from Lewes even with a car.
