(no subject)

I just did a round of emailing and calling to various staffing agencies in Pennsylvania and connections in everything from private schools to libraries. Now to see what happens and go out into the grey weather to get something for lunch and read some more of Bill and Babe's book which is wonderful.

They're making me want to move back to Philly even sooner because they sound like home to me. Technically I grew up in the Delaware County but Philly's my city when it comes right down to it.

An Unexpected Chance

Today I feel like karma is working for me since I did all those phonecalls and emails and then over dinner was talking to our friends and trying to explain about roleplaying. Then Connie who I have not always had an easy relationship with, went oh do you want to storytell at the public library.

I was almost jumping with happiness at the idea of it. So tonight I will write up my storytelling and library experience and she will phone the Children's Librarian and while I search I could tell stories to children.

I'm not sure if I can adequately describe just how overjoyed this makes me because I see myself as a storyteller though I've yet to figure out how to make it work within my life. Doors just keep opening today.

Oh and since I just remembered it now, the man in the couple asked me to design a business card for him since he likes the one I made for my father so much and he'll pay me for it too.
