Right, after far too many drafts, I sent off an application for a grant writer position at the Free Library of Philadelphia. I'm not sure if its exactly the job that I want since I'd prefer a position where I'd be interacting with lots of people, but it might be a way into the Free Library.

Ah well, at least its one more done and I can shift it around for another grant writer opening at the Philadelphia Zoo. This would be so much easier if I'd heard from some of these other places I'd applied.

The waiting is really the worst, but I do have a 30 dollar gift certificate to Eddie Bauer and my parents are coming back tomorrow with my little nieces. I think I'm going to try and rouse myself earlier tomorrow so I can go shopping.

An article on trolls

I found this an interesting article on internet trolls.

I haven't experienced this a lot since I'm not quite as online as some others on my flist. So I'm curious of everyone's reaction, because I found it rather disturbing in terms of the people involved.

It makes me kind of pity them that they feel that this is what they have to do to feel they're making a difference in the world. I don't want to restrict their free speech, but be good if they could be more aware of the consequences of their actions which they don't seem as aware of or care about.
