Happy Day After Turkey Day!!

Yesterday there was cooking and much enjoying of good food and family. And to follow a theme of others, I will give an idea of how thankful I am for this past year. I am thankful for new and old friends in my two homes of the US and Wellington, for having my mind opened up by conversations and roleplaying, learning that I can write a good essay, being part of a university environtment again, lovely days in Wellington, autumn days in Swarthmore, good books, good movies and being alive. I am so thankful for being Auntie Kate to two little girls who wanted to sit next to me and talk to me last night, to a generous family and friends who welcome me back after I've been halfway around the world. Life is good and I just wanted to say thank you to new friends in New Zealand, and Germany and old friends all over the US. Enjoy your day and I hope you have beautiful weather and time to do what you love.
