Beginnings

ceitfiannaMy apartment looks wonderful and last night I cooked my first dinner in it and it was tasty and eaten at a table that's been with my mother's family for a very long time.
Mostly things are going well, nothing is really wrong with my apartment other than the fact that according to the comcast guy, the cable connection is shot. So even though the signal and the box is right out my window and incredibly strong, I can't use it. Comcast is going to somehow get it rewired but at the moment I have no idea how long that's going to take. My hope is since its the start of the month and not crazy tie with huge amounts of people moving in and out, it won't take too long. In the meantime, Ann Arbor has tons of free internet so I will be spending my days hanging out in lovely cafes as I am now at the Crazy Wisdom Tea Room.
Today I'm going to try and answer all my slows and if I do any tagging out, it will probably be in mixed muses since things are a little easier there and I know how annoying it is to have a horribly slowtimed thread without warning.
My parents are going to be heading home tomorrow and then I think my place will really feel more like mine, its really getting there but having a night of making my own dinner and watching a dvd or such on my new tv is probably going to click it over.
Also I now have a mailbox and address, I would love to send people cards and postcards and silly things and I'm planning on doing a big mass email with it and possibly a locked post too. dynastessa, I've watched the first two episodes of Flight of the Conchords and they're brilliant and insane.
