In Somerset, Pennsylvania 300 miles or so done

We just arrived at a Super 8 motel in Somerset, Pennsylvania after driving since about 10:30 this morning.

One thing that helps make things wonderful is there's a classic Ford convention or something going on at the Quality Inn next door and I took a number of pictures and might take more later.

I drove the first third in my car, from Lewes to just over the Bay Bridge which is so beautiful.

Now we're all relaxing and I'm going to check in with things and do a few tags but won't be on terribly late since I'm sharing a room with my parents and we'll pretty tired.

Oh, also I've been thinking a lot about all those drabble prompts and even some that I wasn't given, but I have a feeling I won't be writing too much tonight. Just a long day all around but we're more than halfway.

Driving is quite tiring, so get some good rest and relax and I can't wait to see pictures from your trip (and the car show, eee!) and am sending good thoughts your way for safe travel.

Okay, rather belated answer, we went from Lewes, Delaware over the Bay Bridge and up through Maryland to Somerset, Pa, that was our first overnight. Then we drove from there past Pittsburgh and over the Ohio border.

We had lunch in Oberlin, Ohio and then continued on to just over the Michigan border before deciding to drive on to Ann Arbor.
