01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?

She gave me Atonement, Robin Hood and Gossip Girl, I'm not sure how much I can say about all of them but I like these kind of questions because I see myself sort of kind in but not fully into fandom.
Atonement
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
I watched the movie because it had James McAvoy in it anddynastessa and arkadveyna both said it was worth watching. I'm not sure I'm really into the fandom and the movie was hard but inspired a Will piece about his hanging just due to the how broken James looked.
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on? Again,
I don't think I'm really in it, most of the icons I have are from more James' icon sites than Atonement ones.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
I love the moment of them on the beach, I just hate that its the only point of real happiness in the entire damn thing.
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
Not really, I like the icons since they work for Will.
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
I'm not sure about the fandom but I think Joe Wright is wonderful and everyone should know about James McAvoy.
Robin Hood
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
I read Paul Creswick's Robin Hood with the Wyeth illustrations and utterly fell in love.
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
Considering that I've loved the Robin Hood myth since I was twelve, I really don't think I'm going anywhere.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
Disney Robin Hood, Creswick's Robin Hood, Adventures of Young Robin Hood (cartoon series that was on when I was younger which had my Will.)
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
I play Will and write fiction though I've never put it anywhere other than my journal and telling in other arenas.
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Oh yes, Robin Hood is wonderful and so beautiful in all its complexities.
Gossip Girl
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
I stumbled upon the show when I was watching tv and just started watching. I still have yet to finish the first season but I adore Serena and Blair.
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I'm not sure I'm in it but I think its pretty.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
I love the one where the girls steal the clothes from Blair's mother and do their own photography session around the city.
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
I pick up icons I like but that's about it.
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Oh yes, its such a fun show.

01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
The Captain. Which is what me and my brother call Nathan Fillion. We saw the previews and totally had to go and check it out. It was way back when I first started playing in Milliways and while watching it I totally loved Bill's character and went home and wrote up an app that night.
Sadly, the film was only in theaters here for one week (boo peoples for not understanding the horror/comedy genre, BOO!) and I had to wait foooooooooorever, for it to come out on DVD, so there are some minor canon inconsitencies with Bill, but he is so much love.
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
Oh, I'm pretty positive this is one I'm gonna stick with. Out of all my pups Bill is the one I've kept up with the most. It's a great flick, and the only zombie movie I can watch and not have nightmares or get scared.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
Well, it's just one film. But, my favorite scene is actually an extra on the DVD. It's an extended scene of Bill and Starla out on the porch. Bill is his awkward adorable self, and you get a better glimpse into the type of relationship they have and the kind of man Bill is because it's obvious he loves her and he's awkward and sweet and just EEEEEEE! I've gotten a lot of Bill's character from that scene.
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
Well I play Bill, hee. And I've written a couple of bitty ficlets.
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
YES! It is such a fun film and while there is a lot of gory messes it's totally not nightmares scary. The characters are fantastic, and not just Bill. Jack is a riot and the story is very good. Also, the extras! You have to watch the extras! XD
X-men-
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
That, is a really long story that involves Batman The Animated Series, ghost hunting and the first X-men flick.
Let's just say Batman came first, Batman comics, the awesome that was the X-men movie, and then comics that just EXPLODED into everything else. Eventually leading to me RPing *G*
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
Because of financial stuff I have fallen way behind on the comics, but I'm hoping to someday catch up/ start reading again. Right now it's something I still really love, I'm just not up to date at all and Wolverine was kind of a disappointment to me.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
X2 is my favorite movie, total action and great stuffs going on in that flick. That's why I was upset with Wolverine it totally didn't follow the canon established in X2, with the weapon X story and characters and such. Like, for instance, when they showed him escaping he was totally covered in blood, the place was thrashed, and in Origins he killed like, two guys in the background and ran out the door. Stryker was totally a different guy and I'm not gonna buy the adamantium bullet to the brain pan. I'm just not. I just... GAH! WHY??? /end white text of possibly spoilers.
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
I started writing fanfic in this fandom. From there I got an invite to join an X-men RP, and from there well... I'm here :)
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Totally. It's a daunting one to hop into because of HOMG HUUUUUUGE canon with a ton of back story and whatnot, but there's also a lot there to enjoy. I bought my first Wolverine comic after seeing the X-men movie because the cover looked cool. From there I just started reading, that and Wizard Magazine and the interwebs helped me edjumacate myself and eventually I figured out what the X-men were about.

Shrek-
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
I love cartoon movies. I don't even care, I will watch cartoons all the time and Shrek was just great fun.
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
The Third movie was kind of so-so, to me, but I like the characters and that enough that I'm sure I'd see another one if it came out.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
Shrek 2, because of Puss! I am also a huge dork in that I looooooove the end scene with the riding to save the day as "I Need A Hero" plays.
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
I play Puss in Boots! Because he is an adorable, fierce ball of love.
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
It's tons of fun, I don't know anyone who hasn't seen at least one of the Shrek movies, but if that person is you you totally should.
