ceitfiannaWell, it turns out I really didn't need to be quite as freaked out earlier. I left a message on Rowan's phone and he called me back and we talked for 14 minutes and decided to meet tommorow. I think he's just glad to have someone to talk to about lots of stuff, apparently its not cool to talk about reading books with the people he knows. Which is just hard and its nice to know that he enjoys talking to me that much since he brought it up. Also he's inspired me to set one of my stories down on paper. Its actually a story I told at Longacre many years ago, but I tend to not write my stories down. So this one is going to finally get written down. Life is good, its starting to feel like spring too. Its sunny and warm in the sun, though it can get cold.
The Fringe Festival's going on too, so lots of unusual people are around. I've recently just been reading in the Octagon and today I got talking to some people here for the Festival and they thought I must be a performer. All I did was explain to them about being here and about the greek plays at R-MWC and apparently the way I talked about it made me sound like a performer, which is just cool. A nice reminded for me that I truly am a storyteller and might ever be able to do more with it. Life is good and more updates as more happens though I really miss having everyone close by since its really odd starting new friendships and feeling out unknown waters and just not having everyone there to tell me what they think. So I'm think of everyone and I think this is a good place for me. Now I'm going to go sit in the Octagon and try and finish my book and then start a maritime series that I'd seen in the states but I could never find the first one and I found the first one in a sale bin today. Things are good, weather is nice and I've got a friend who I can talk with so much I lose track of time.
