I got a job!!!

I'm officially out of limbo and starting on Tuesday will be working in an adminstrative position at the ACC which is a government agency that helps New Zealanders when they're hurt in an accident. Its amazing, I bought a cool little cell phone with a color screen and everything and about two hours later the employment agency calls with this job offer. So I rushed over, filled out the paper work and I start on Tuesday. Its a full time office job and will give me something to do during the week, a way to earn money and time off on the weekends to go see the world. Life is good and tonight I'm going to celebrate by actually eating a real dinner instead of having lunch be my big meal. Yay!!! Bounce, bounce, bounce.

Its true what the guy at the internet cafe said when I told him I was going to get a phone, "Oh an essential." Turns out its true and soon I will have a job and life is really good.

Awesome!! I actually haven't gotten a cell phone yet, as I'm only here another three months and I already have a landline, but I acquiese to its necessity when you're someplace for a whole year (I left my cell at home for my littlest sister to use ... and then she got one last week. Ironic).

I know this is planning way too much in advance, but we'll have to swap study-abroad experiences when we see each other again, assuming G has another big bbq next summer to celebrate the triumphant return States-side.
