More Internet woes

ceitfiannaI sort of have internet as long as I keep my computer directly connected to the modem since the modem has a factory defect, the brand new modem that arrived in the mail today.
So I have to wait for another modem and then send this one back. In the meantime, I'm going to be online because I can though not as I normally do because the modem has me on a short leash *glares at it*.
In three to five business days I should get another new modem that hopefully will not have any factory defects and it should work. So I think I will be on slightly less just because the situation makes me want to scream and will distract myself instead of wanting to throw things at Verizon.
Since Saturday night, I have now had three fifty minute or more long phone calls with Verizon tech support, so I'm ordering myself in something yummy for dinner and maybe going to a movie tomorrow or going shopping.
