Another Holiday Drabble

ceitfiannaThis idea has been bouncing around in my head so I'm going to write a snippet of it but I think it wants to be a grown up fic.
Diagon Alley looks like its made out gingerbread with snow everywhere and Tiwa is bundled up in a cloak and a hat that seems a bit too big as she and James walk. He keeps laughing since all the magic and beauty makes her almost glow and hop around from window to window. When she wants to talk to all the birds in the post office, he sighs and gets a promise to later go in the Quidditch shop.
Inside James sees a good friend from the Quidditch team who's having his owl looked at, James does his best to explain about Tiwa without actually explaining. With a flutter of wings, Tiwa heads back their way as a rather small owl keeps trying to tell her about this amazing adventure it had as she bribes it with treats to go back to its perch.
On the way to the Leaky Cauldron, they somehow end up holding hands, James figures that way he won't lose her in the Christmas crowd and Tiwa convinces herself that its just his hands are warmer.
