ceitfiannaI have hot chocolate and just had a really cold but good walk out on Cape Henlopen and plans to make myself a yummy tofu stir fry tonight.
I think I've been having a bug or something since I feel a lot better. Oh and I've just started a really interesting book called Loot about the world of antiquities, its fascinating though more for the general populace since at points, I keep wanting more information.

rushin_doll, I can do this meme happily so many times since the questions are always different.
1. Is there a common thread that you find draws you to characters, and if
so what is it? I think that I like playing characters that are a bit to the side and quite loyal and steady in their beliefs. So Will is Robin's squire and always one of the Merry Men but in my opinion rather overlooked so I've enjoyed bringing him out. Demeter is one of the major Greek Gods but not as involved in many of the most well known myths and she's sure of her role though others might not be. Tumnus is important at certain points but rather rapidly goes to the edges of the story. While the Pirate King is a bit trickier but the musical is truly about Frederic and the Pirate King is his foil so it works.
2. Do you ever find yourself wishing that you interacted more with a specific person? What's stopping you?
Yes, a lot of yes to this one and this is true is a couple of areas for me. I think I'll answer Bar and then RL. I wish I interacted more with Batya since I adore her characters and always follow what she does with a lot of interest. I think its a bit of worry that I might not be as good an RPer so I get nervous. Though the few threads we've had, I've really enjoyed, I just wish there were more of them. In real life, I wish I'd found a way to somehow go on at least one date with my flatmate Phil form New Zealand since my second year even though we were both in the same building, we never talked and were awkward. I was just so worried about messing things up that I made my last week there so crazy of my second year. So I'd like to have the courage to email him again and try since I miss talking with him about all kinds of stuff and trying to get him to try out Milliways.
3. What's your dream job?
Storyteller, but I'm not still not sure the best format. Working at an incredibly vibrant place about teaching and being able to do research but while spending part of my day interacting with groups and showing look at the wonderful life here. Let me make history or books come alive with a tale.
4. If you could be really good at an activity you have no experience in at the moment, what would it be and why?
This is hard since there are a couple of things that I have some experience but would love to be really good at. I think fencing, I would love to be able to learn to be certain and elegant and use a sword since I think its one of the most beautiful arts out there.
5. Do you think that you might one day go back into academia?
Without a doubt, yes, one reason I would love to find an admin job in an academic setting is so they would be more understanding if I said one day. You know, I think I'd like to go and get a masters but this time in literature or such.
