James and Tiwa are being cute at each other again and
bookelfe gave me a cute meme.
1. Comment on this post.
2. I will give you a letter.
3. Think of 5 fictional characters whose names start with that letter and post their names and your comments on those characters in your LJ.
She gave me G.
1) Sir Galahad since I've always loved Arthurian legends though never really liked him.
2) Sir Guy who I always hated even more than the Sheriff in Robin Hood. The Robin Hoodie one I think actually works rather well since he's got that cruel, ambitious thing going.
3) George Weasley who I just love, the Weasleys are probably one of my favorite families to read about since they're fun and messy. Also as many of you know I have a thing for redheads.
4) Glinda from Oz, I grew up reading the original books and she's always been someone I loved since she's strong, herself and gets stuff done. I also like her in the musical Wicked.
5) Grover from Percy Jackson, he's a wonderful foil to Percy and just a fun character.
Oh and fun news, I'm going up to PA at the end of this week and I was wondering if I could find a way to get up to NYC for the weekend, probably arriving on Friday, anyone want me? Since Thursday I will be in Pa doing job stuff and I want to see all you people.

Re: Icon Meme
Date: 2008-10-16 01:29 pm (UTC)3. That icon is of the character Cally from Battlestar Galactica, and in the early seasons I liked her a lot; she was the girl who worked in the engine room and had only joined the military to pay her way through dental school and was therefore one of a very few characters who wasn't Career Military by choice. Then . . . the writing kind of turned her into a painful character to watch. But I still think this icon is pretty! The keywords are from 'Into the Woods', and I sort of use this icon to signify being lost or confused in a situation or story you don't know how to handle.
