Thinking about a trip

ceitfiannaSo I'm here on my own and was thinking that using my car and public transportation, it might be nice to do a bit of a trip up north.
I might stay with my brother in southern NJ for Philly visiting so that I don't have to crash with anyone and then maybe head North to NYC. That would require a place to crash and this would be in the next three weeks, I'm just kind of thinking aloud.
I'm open to suggestions about anything and might fall asleep early tonight. First night on my own I always sleep oddly which meant not sleeping until light was coming through the window.
