Some Surprising Good

I've been feeling rather down lately, mainly due to not having a job and my car in the shop, so I feel rather isolated and all.

Today I walked into town to have lunch and get my dad's birthday present which I think he'll really like.

Then I started thinking about some of my friends who just aren't doing well and looking for small nice things to maybe send them and wandered into the wonderful soap store called The Soap Fairy. There was a cute guy behind the counter and we got to talking and as I was turning to leave he said, you're not leaving yet and gave me a free sample of lavender soap. That made me feel so good, because lately I've been feeling horribly body conscious and just far too hard on myself.

This was a nice reminder that I'm a beautiful woman and this is just a low point that will pass. Oh and I just finished the third book of The Dalemark Quartet and it was wonderful, I love how each book is connected yet different and I really wish the library had the fourth book, I want to know how it ends.

You have got to acquire the fourth book somehow as it is (I think) the best! Even though they are all awesome, but the fourth book ties everything together. :D Also Mitt and Moril get to have constant bitchfights. If this is not a sell I don't know what is.
