Fourth of July Stuff

This is the first time I've been on since Thursday night. My brother and his family arrived yesterday morning and we went to the beach, to the boat parade and were altogether quite busy. Today there was the farmer's market which I slept through since I hadn't told anyone to wake me and an art fair in town.

Also its really humid and I drove in icky traffic to get fish for my brother's ceviche and driving in my car with my sister, my brother and my dad was tiring.

Then I came back and with my nieces made lovely looking peach cobbler with fresh local peaches and mixed up my lamb patties for grilling. Now I'm going to take a cold shower and try not to fall over.

I love my family a lot, but seeing my brother and his wife makes me miss having a guy in my life or just friends close by. I will get to Philly and have a job.

The art fair also reminded me how much I love the PA Renn Faire and I don't think DragonCon is going to happen but I'd love in the end of August or even later, get together with some PA and NJ folks and do a weekend of going to the Faire and hanging out.

I'll tag stuff up probably tomorrow since currently I don't have the energy but I just wanted to say, I'm here and Happy Fourth. There will be tons of pictures later.

Thinking of the PA Renn Faire... I realized as I was driving down 76 from Harrisburg when I was there for the interview... I'll be like 30 miles from it. XD I need to work on some garb. Because... zomg, I've never lived that close to a Renn Faire.

Its my favorite one, because its not too huge and also the first one I ever went to.

I used to go every summer but haven't been in the country to be able to go for a frew years.
