Long and Crazy Weekend

ceitfiannaWell this weekend started off bad, got crazier and hopefully will end nicely. On Friday my family was preparing for my Mom's big birthday party so I was going into Philly to buy lots of nuts from an awesome and cheap store on Walnut. I get the nuts and call my mom and find out my boss from Victoria's Secret called and I was supposed to work that afternoon. I called her from Philly, apologized, said I didn't see it on the schedule. I've now looked and it was there, but maybe it was put on later or something. Basically I missed a day of work, but I think its okay since it happened at the beginning. My boss believed that I honestly had no clue. Then I got home and cooked and had a nice night once I was able to calm my nerves down.
Saturday I got up and went to the mall to pick up my paycheck, my mom's birthday present and check my schedule. Schedule's not posted, got paycheck and used discount for present but found out that instead of just being on call that night (its their phrase very odd) I find out I have to work from 6 to 11 and miss the party. Well that kind of sucks, but the night working ends up being busy and crazy but good since we went over our quota we have to meet and I like the girls I worked with.
Today worked from 12 to 4 and it was in between since there are three managers and I really like one of them, she really makes me feel part of a team. The other one, who I think is still kind of angry for me missing the day was sort of weird today. I mean it was an in between day feast or famine and at one point she was quizzing me on the numbers of bras we need to sell. Now I know which bras to push and find out at the start what needs to be pushed more, I know how to do that. I mean I know she's good at this and everything but they have so much they want you to say and not everyone wants to hear all of it. So I tend to bring up what's going to fit the person, but she makes me feel guilty by asking, how many of these did you do? Okay that's my private rant. Tonight I get dinner with Aaron which is wonderful and great. But tommorow I have to work from 7 to 4 helping to set up a store in Williow Grove. But it sounds like it might be fun though highly crazy. I guess that's all for now, this has just been an insane weekend and since i have to get up so early tommorow. I might not even sleep just stay up watching Lord of the Rings since I haven't in a while.
