Things at home
Mar. 29th, 2020 02:36 pmI thought for my own record and to help me think about what I'm doing, I'd record what my days have been like the past two wees.
-Wake up and get dressed but no shoes
-Learn that my neighbor is I think a yoga teacher because I can hear her giving lessons through the wall, that's been getting me up earlier
-Have my morning tea and some food, usually not enough. I'm going to make some oat bars today that I think will help.
-Check email and things online
-Go for a walk, there's a small park behind my building so I walk in a circle incorporating it, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter depending on the weather.
-Also on the walk, do errands, this is one of the hardest parts for me to not just pop into a bodega or a restaurant and grab something. I'm doing my best to really limit things and I'm going to see what I can order when I next need groceries.
-What I love about my neighborhood makes this all harder, because I miss being able to sit in a cafe and read. Do that kind of impulse shop and just be around people.
-The walk for me shows so much of what's working out there and not, some people will be like me, make the space to avoid each other, but yesterday a few joggers almost ran me over. The park has tennis and basketball courts and I see people there and again there's the worry, do they live together, are they being safe?
-Then I head home and settle in more with tea and pajama pants until dinner and usually staying up too late reading.
I haven't ended up writing or cooking as much as I was hoping to but I'm also trying not to put pressure on myself. Honestly, I feel tired and like my shoulders are never going to be relaxed again.
