Meme and complicated dreams

ceitfiannaLife has been busy for me, but good other than some bad dreams. One was strange but almost nice. I dreamed about being with a group of people who were traveling with Alan Cumming, first to a party at his wonderful and complicated apartment and then to I think Jamaica. That part wasn't as nice as suddenly we were meant to be swimming with the sharks. I woke myself up then and then last night I had a dream about being at a school and a general bad day.
I've seen this meme going around and love the idea of it. After this I'm going to go and ask other people about their fics. I'm also in the midst of finally watching Leverage's final season. I love this show.

Date: 2015-03-24 07:26 pm (UTC)1-The request wanted an outsider perspective on the Narnians and to look deeper into the Calormens. I don't remember exactly where the idea came from, I started with baking then went to my own experience with what I knew about Morocco. Then I thought of the dish she cooks and it all came together.
6-I had no idea how people would respond. I was sure they would know I wrote it since I'm always requesting Tumnus' fic for that exchange. I hoped that Hayat felt like a real character and worked.
"Got the details right"
3-I think my favorite part of this fic is Sam and Nat's conversation, where it feels like they're comfortable but still learning each other.
4-I struggled to write Sam's flashbacks and not make them feel too much like look, look PTSD. Also I had trouble figuring out how to layer in his trial memories, the shape of the fic was going to be something very different at the beginning before it shifted on me. Some of that awkwardness is in that memory part.
