Thoughts on the Journey

I staged a couple of story telling evenings last year. Most people seemed quite uncomfortable with the whole thing, and unsure of how to tell a story. Some notable exceptions though. I've always been interested in the transmission of stories orally. Myths like Arthur and Robin Hood, for example, have got "primary sources", but I think most people just seem to acquire them osmitically, rather than from one particular place. Especially Arthur, who is less well represented in movies.
