ceitfianna | History Paper and June in Wellington (Reply)

June in Wellington sucks, the past two nights the wind has been howling around the building sounding like a banshee reading someone their last rights, while today the wind and the rain made the walk to campus feel like a trek. I finally finished my history paper that I've been working on and putting off this past week, I had a writer's block on Saturday and spent the rest of the week searching for books. I feel so glad to have this paper over and done with, but sadly don't really have a good way to celebrate. I was hoping to see Cars with Sunny, but she's got a friend from Germany coming soon and wants to save money as I should too. Oh well, I'll figure something out, anyway I should do my reading for Aristophanes tommorow, I was just hoping to have a night not spent at my computer. Not too much other news, just working away on the paper and soon will have break and Australia. I'm enjoying the work, just today I feel like I want to go and hide in a different world for a bit. One where the wind and rain don't combine to make you feel as if you've run up the hill instead of walked just because the wind is so strong.

Okay, enough complaining about Wellington. I have my plane tickets for Sydney and I had fun spending my gift certificate at Arty Bees, one more Charles De Lint book to add to my collection and this Saturday I might get to do some gaming. Its always a good feeling to have a paper handed in and the books returned, just a nice weight off my shoulders.
