Back on the ground

After two four hour drives, two days of meeting people, teaching a class and getting to know a campus and not enough sleep. I arrived home last night and slept nice and late last night before being woken up with the fact I didn't get the job. Its odd because while I'm disappointed, I could have seen myself working there, I also know that I've found a job that's a good fit for me. Now I just need to find the school that I fit.

This experience taught me that I can be quite comfortable learning all the parts of a campus and how it works and that small schools feel right for me. I know the right one's out there for me and this was a good lesson. Now I'm going to drink lots of tea and figure out my next step as I plan my trip back East for the end of the month. I also need to get my watch band fixed as it broke yesterday morning as I was getting ready.

I just have to say that it is amazing that you have an idea of what you want even though you don't have it quite yet. I'm still trying to decide what I wanna do with my life. = ]
