Back in the USA
Aug. 27th, 2005 03:17 pmI arrived back in Philadelphia after four long plane rides and arrived with a true hatred of Continental and the LAX airport. So far I've had a couple of days to start my body back to time readjusting and one big family dinner to meet my nieces again and my neice Ava made me a present of a lovely little painting. So in some ways its really nice being home, seeing my parents new house and having wireless internet and not having to worry about food and rent. But Rowan's still in New Zealand and as I keep rediscovering things, I want to show them to him and say look, I remember this and I don't remember this. At the moment, he's in Wellington with his parents on mid semester break and has called me four times and now its my turn to call him. I miss him so much and wish I could have him here with me. Since he's never seen where I came from and I want to introduce him to all my friends and say this is the great guy that's calling me back to New Zealand.
My plans are pretty simple for the next couple of months, find a job I like so that I can earn my own money again and look at graduate schools though unless I find someplace pretty awesome, I'll probably go to Victoria in Wellington. I think that's about it, I've unpacked my bags though I still have stuff to unpack from the old house. At the moment, I'm at the shore with my parents and enjoying the quiet, but its hard since I want everything. I want family and Rowan.
