ceitfiannaToday is grey and rainy and I realized as I was walking home just how much I loved it and this place I've found myself. Every time I finish my children's literature class, I just realize even more, oh yes, this is where I fit.
Today we were talking about picture books and easy reading books and I have this list of authors to go find that I've never heard of and ones who's names I'd forgotten. I would love it if again you would share with me picture books and thoughts of what do you love?
Also today we talked about reading aloud and I remembered how at Rose Valley Day Camp, every day, they read to us and I was about nine or so at the time. I forget just how many years I went there but there was this man who we all called King with this beard and deep voice. When I think of Aslan, its his voice that I hear in my head. I want to be that person for someone.
Oh and I think I'm going to do Yuletide this year, but I'll need some help from the list in terms of teaching me how to do it and how do you figure out which fandoms you can actually do. I have some ideas but I want to hear from people who know what they're doing.
