Not a Good Start

I woke up at 9:15 after variously waking up even earlier and somehow told myself that was the time to wake.

The only problem is I feel utterly horrible, my nose is stuffed up, I feel wobbly and a little feverish so I've spent the last few minutes running around trying to remember who to contact and how for my job.

At the moment all I've been able to run into are answering machines and I'm just panicking a lot along with feeling sick.

ETA: They did get my messages and agreed it was probably a good idea that I hadn't come in. Now I can focus on just feeling better.

Go to some campus health service? Swine flu is really going round at US universities and colleges now the new term has started. The Lady Carolin linked me some scary article a while back.

I'll try to at some point. The trick is campus health stuff is about a half hour walk from where I live and one reason I'm not up to my job on campus today is I feel wobbly.

For now, I've informed everyone I can think of and I think I'll make some tea and maybe toast.

I'm currently drinking tea and eating cheesy toast, it helps. Knowing the job stuff is alright helps a lot more.

I don't want to be that person who just doesn't show up.
