Driving against the wind

In the past two days, I've had two very different but good interviews for two temp jobs. One at the closer university where talking with the group was comfortable and I talked a lot about my last college job. And from their faces, I realized oh I know this stuff. Then today at a public library that's a bit of a haul to drive which was also a friendly conversation but one question left me feeling odd. I don't remember exactly what it was but basically so are you looking for permanent work and I said yes.

I'm connected to a good temp agency but its hard to feel like I keep getting closer and not there. I know there's not some great secret to finding a job, so much of it can be factors beyond your control and I try to do my best with all I can control.

I know some of this is starting the new year and missing my sister and feeling kind of down. Things are good and I'll be okay, but some days are harder than others. Also I ended up getting lost on my way home so my drive felt far longer than it had to be. In nice news, I got my W2 so I can soon get a nice tax refund from my last job to refill what went into my new brakes.
